"About 20 years ago, from 2006 to 2008, I lived nearby and came here almost every other day for a New York State Plate for dinner. I didn’t even need to order—whenever I walked in, the person at the counter would just ask, “New York State Plate?” Their roast beef was absolutely amazing, especially with jalapeños. Even after moving back home, I still think about that delicious meal from time to time."

"The food is extremely gooood, love their chicken... Hamburgers, Carne Asada & Grilled Cheese are Amazing. Always pack & parking it's bit tight. Overall the Food is Amazing... Just gotta be patient with parking space & cleaning of the tables. The Service is Great, but when it comes too wiping the tables, their certain employees that give the crappy face, just because you ask your table too be whipe out. Other than that the Food is Great."

"A true local burger spot with that classic old-school LA vibe. The burgers are satisfying, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. My only disappointment is that dogs aren’t allowed, so I can’t bring my furry companion along. If they had a dog-friendly patio, I’d probably come even more often. Still, it’s a solid neighborhood burger joint that’s worth checking out."
