"Fresh & flavorful! I recommend sitting at the bar where you have full access to the various salsas and a good view of the chefs preparing the dishes. The aguachile, ceviche and seasonal fish were great as were the tortillas. Skip the scallop taco in favor of the pulpo taco as the former was not as flavorful as everything else was."

"Great food and very fresh! Their lemonade is possibly the best lemonade over ever had. If they sold that as a slushie, I'd have gotten several to go. The Baja Fish Taco was maybe one of the best tacos I've ever had. The scallop taco was good but not great. I think if it had been hotter it would have been more appetizing as the flavor was good. My ceviche was tasty, though could have used more seasoning. Prices though are more than reasonable for the quality of seafood, and service at the counter seating was friendly. If you sit at the counter you will be served by someone. One note- counter seating is first come, first serve. I stood in line for almost 40 minutes before realizing this. If you're solo, or a couple, I would check the counter before standing in line. Otherwise the line situation is very organized which is great. (There are also other really good looking restaurants in this mercado so definitely check them out for drinks or dessert. Since you sit anywhere you could get items from multiple vendors) Overall I would suggest trying out Holbox , especially if you're with others as it would be easy to share food and try multiple items without breaking the bank for such high quality ingredients."

"The fish is incredibly fresh and you can taste it. A+ quality char-grilled fish. Tender octopus. It's hard to find a place with such high quality and good prices. The wait is very short."

"we went there at early dinner hour, the wait was shorter than I excepted. my personal favorite: - fish/shrimp taco - octopus taco ( whatever fermented veggies they used there was delicious very interesting and not so common) - sea urchin ( fresh and you get what you pay for) crowd pleaser but - ceviche misto ( fresh and good portion but its like ceviche from everywhere else. ) - kampachi taco ( beautify presentation with good chilli crisp but chopped white fish does not like minced pork/ beef its a bit watery and the taco shell texture became saggy ) overall - worth a try :) good job"
