"I'd like a wider menu, hence the 4 stars. Smells like an old bar in the old bar area. :) I only go to pick up their white cheddar mac--fabulous."

"Stopped in for lunch at The Brook on Brookside and had a solid experience. The service really stood out—Chrishaun took great care of me, making sure my order came out completely accurate and checking in at just the right times throughout the meal. The atmosphere is always reliable for a casual mid-day bite. My only heads-up for visitors is the parking situation. The lot directly behind the restaurant has gotten noticeably tighter, especially with several spaces now reserved for neighboring businesses. If you are heading here during peak lunch hours, give yourself an extra minute or two to find a spot along Peoria or on a nearby side street. Overall, great hospitality that makes it well worth the trip."

"Wendy was our waitress and she was fantastic ! I'd never heard anyone ask how you wanted your fries cooked. There were 4 of us. My wife had the Bleu cheese burger. I tried a bite. Incredible. My son in law had buffalo tenders which he raved about as did my daughter about her turkey wrap. I had the fish and chips. Excellent. They also have the good wine vinegar. I had wild rice with mine it was perfect. They all 3 had fries which I tried and they also were outstanding. Less than 70$ which for a place of this quality and time period is pretty good. Sorry the only picture is empty plates but hey, it was too good to stop and take pictures of"

"Incredible. I usually patron the Brook South location (my childhood home is a <5 minute drive from there), but this one is just as good. Cheddar fries, Mac and cheese, it’s all so good."
