"My friends & I are in town for a ladies trip and had the pleasure of dining at Spencers tonight. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were both professional & friendly, and we met the nicest guy, Craig, who is a frequent regular. We loved the history of the restaurant and the establishments commitment to animals. If you are ever in town you should definitely dine here."

"Was very surprised of how beautiful the restaurant was once you stepped in. Very vibrant and romantic outdoor seating as well. They had a pre-set dinner menu which was terrific. Great service as well. Only set back was they allowed dogs in a fine dining establishment. I don't want to necessarily be sitting next to someone 's dog when I'm paying that kind of money for dinner."

"We chose Spencer’s Restaurant to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, they welcomed us with a printed message congratulating us on our anniversary, which was a very thoughtful and lovely touch. The food was delicious, and we were really enjoying the atmosphere and the start of what was supposed to be a special evening. Unfortunately, one thing really took away from the experience. We ordered wine, and despite being 37 years old and clearly there celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary, our server asked to see our IDs. Having to pull out our wallets and show identification at the beginning of such a nice anniversary dinner felt awkward and unnecessary. I understand that restaurants may have their own policies regarding alcohol service, but the way it happened completely broke the mood for me. I actually felt like leaving at that point, but I didn’t want it to ruin the evening for my wife and me, so we stayed and continued our dinner. It’s a shame because everything else—the anniversary welcome, the food, and the atmosphere—was genuinely wonderful. I just wish that one uncomfortable moment hadn’t taken away from an otherwise very special dinner."
